Sean "Sweet" Johnson

Sean Johnson, known as Sweet, is CJ's older brother and leader of the gang, Grove Street Families. He puts his gang before anything else in his life and initially doesn't get along with CJ because Sweet believes he let Brian die. Sweet and CJ both have a reputation as "The Johnson Brothers".

Sweet is voiced by Faizon Love.

Melvin "Big Smoke" Harris

Big Smoke is a big guy who is the one Grove Street Families member that supports CJ when he returns to San Andreas. He seems to be quite spiritual in parts of the game yet he is after fame and fortune. He is often found with the C.R.A.S.H team at his house which is his new place, of the Grove. Apparently, he got the money to buy it off his Aunt.

Big Smoke is voiced by Clifton Powell.

Lance "Ryder" Wilson

Ryder is a loose cannon who is short and scrawny but violent. He is an old friend of CJ's but won't forgive CJ for the time he spent in Liberty City. He also seems jealous of CJ when the rest of the gang start respecting CJ again. He has a "can do" attitude that gets him into trouble as well as being a good gang member. Ryder is very big-headed and thinks of himself as a genius.

Ryder is voiced by MC Eiht.

Officer Frank Tenpenny

Tenpenny is a corrupt cop who leads the anti-gang unit known as C.R.A.S.H. He manipulates and bullies CJ into doing his dirty work for him. He is responsible for the death of Officer Pendelbury who had figured out Tenpenny's corrupt ways and was going to expose him. Tenpenny frames CJ for this murder.

Tenpenny is voiced by Samuel L. Jackson who starred in many films including Pulp Fiction and Shaft.

Officer Eddie Pulaski

Pulaski is Tenpenny's right hand man who is a member of the C.R.A.S.H unit. Pulaski, like Tenpenny is violent and has a hatred towards CJ, more than Tenpenny himself. He is generally bad tempered and impatient.

Pulaski is voiced by Chris Penn who has starred in over 50 different movies since the age of 12.

Officer Jimmy Hernandez

Hernandez is new to the C.R.A.S.H unit. He is initially a "good cop" but Tenpenny forces him to listen to his every word and tells him that there is more to fighting crime than he knows. Hernandez is a silent character throughout the game and not much information about him occurs in game.

Hernandez is voiced by Armando Risco who plays some pedestrian voices in San Andreas and also voice acted in GTA Vice City.

Wu Zi Mu

Wu Zi Mu, also known as Woozie to his friends, is a cool and calm chinese guy. Woozie leads the Mountain Cloud Boys, a Triad gang, and is trying to maintain a place in the Red Gecko Tong. Woozie is a excellent driver in races too, despite being blind...

Woozie is voiced by James Yaegashi.

Ran Fa Li

Ran Fa Li, also known as Farlie, leads the Red Gecko Tong. He is wanted dead by The Blood Feather Triad and Woozie must try and protect him to secure his place in the Red Gecko Tong. Farlie never says a word, just grunts.

Farlie is voiced by Hunter Platin who also voiced acted in other Rockstar games such as Manhunt, Midnight Club II, GTA Vice City and GTA III.

Barry "Big Bear" Thorne

Big Bear who was a huge guy and one of the toughest Grove Street Family members, is a scrawny guy who is addicted to crack and is forced by B-Dup to do chores for a fix. His disappearance from the streets is said to have been a kidnapping.

Big Bear is voiced by radio host, Big Boy.

Catalina

Catalina is Cesar Vialpando's cousin. She is a fiery, strong woman who is impatient and crazy. Despite the way she treats him, she is in love with CJ but ends up getting angry with him and instead, starts dating Claude Speed, the main character from GTA III. She is obsessed with robberies and has deals with a man who owns RS Haul.

Catalina is voiced by Cynthia Farrel who voiced Catalina in GTA III, too.

Claude Speed

Claude Speed is the protagonist from Grand Theft Auto III. He is a mute and is introduced in the mission "Farewell, My Love" in which Catalina leaves CJ for Claude. CJ then beats him in a race and earns a deed to a garage in San Fierro. Claude and Catalina then go to Liberty City.

Jeffery "OG Loc" Martin

Wannabe Gangsta Rapper, OG Loc tries to be part of the Grove Street Families but has never committed any crimes besides from a few unpaid parking fines, leading to a short jail sentence. He is seen to some as the worst rapper in history... But others describe it as a new style of hip hop.

The Truth

"The Truth" is a hippie obsessed with Alien-hunting and finding out... The Truth. He has the belief that the there is something the government isn't telling us and that they are listening in on all phone conversations. He owns a drug farm in the country as well as owning a stylish hippie van which he calls "The Mothership". He has connections with Officer Tenpenny and is introduced when Tenpenny is found smoking The Truths drugs out of a bong. The Truth knows both Dwayne and Jethro. They met at the '89 San Fierro Love-In', apparently. Oh, And something about polar bears and mescaline vodka.

The Truth is voiced by Peter Fonda.

Dwayne

Dwayne owns a hotdog van in Kings, San Fierro and is friends of both The Truth and Dwayne. He eventually ends up working in CJ's garage.

Dwayne is voiced by Navid Khonsari. He featured in the Rockstar titles, GTA Vice City, Manhunt and Max Payne.

Jethro

A friend of The Truth. He works at Xoomer Gas Station in Easter Basin, San Fierro. He ends up reuniting with his friend, Dwayne to work in CJ's garage.

Jethro is voiced by John Zurhellen. He featured in the Rockstar titles, GTA Vice City, Manhunt and Max Payne.

Mike Toreno

Toreno runs the Loco Syndicate. CJ rescues him from the back of a van driven by triads, but Toreno isn't grateful and he asks alot of questions about CJ after being introduced by T-Bone....

Toreno is voiced by James Woods.

T-Bone Mendez

T-Bone is the muscle of the Loco Syndicate. He enjoys inflicting violence and did time for running Black Tar out of Mexico, killing two guys while inside.

T-Bone is voiced by Kid Frost.

Jizzy B

Jizzy is a pimp who is part of the Loco Syndicate and owner of the Pleasure Domes, a strip club in Juniper Hollow, San Fierro. He thinks of himself as intellectual and uses CJ as his muscle, but is a really coward.

Jizzy is voiced by Charlie Murphy.

Madd Dogg

Madd Dogg is a very rich and famous rapper who owns a mansion in Vinewood, Los Santos. He has no affiliation with gangs. His albums include 'Huslin' Like Gangstaz', 'Still Madd', 'Forty Dogg' and '24 Carat Dogg'.

Madd Dogg is voiced by famous rapper, Ice-T.

Zero

Zero is a friend of The Truths. He's an electronics geek who owns an RC store in Garcia, San Fierro. He is in a constant battle with Berkly, a geek obsessed with revenge ever since he was beaten by Zero at winning first price at the science fair years ago.

Zero is voiced by David Cross, who has also voice acted in Halo 2 and the second Futurama film, The Beast With A Billion Backs.

Maccer

Maccer is lead singer of a dance band from Manchester, UK. He is introduced in the mission "High Noon" where he is found in the desert after taking drugs, the night before. He is planning a comeback tour with his band, who went missing. He has a problem with self-pleasure and has recently become part of the Epsilom Programme. He was born in Salford, 1965.

Kent Paul

Kent has moved to San Andreas from Vice City. He is with his old friend, Maccer, who refers to him as "P" or "Paulo". Kent makes a great producer.

Maria

Maria was in Grand Theft Auto III. She is back playing a small roll in San Andreas to tie up loose ends on how she met Salvatore Leone.

Maria is voiced by Debbie Mazar and also played the voice of Maria in GTA III.

Mark "B-Dup" Wayne

B-Dup recently moved from the Grove into Balla territory. He has moved on to other things and is making big money as part of drug deals as well as dealing with Officer Tenpenny.

B-Dup is voiced by rapper, The Game.

Denise Robinson

Denise is one of the 6 girls you can date in San Andreas.

CJ meets Denise in the mission "Burning Desire" where he saves her from a burning building that he caused by order of Officer Tenpenny. Denise was living dangerously in the Vagos gang house. Denise likes the Grove Street gang and has heard about CJ and Sweet. She likes to hang around Grove-owned territories and likes doing drive-by's.

She likes guys with lot's of Sex Appeal mostly and she is at home from 16:00 to 06:00 for dating. Get to 50% with her to unlock the keys to her car, a green Hustler. Get to 100% with her to unlock a Pimp Outfit.

Michelle Cannes

Michelle is one of the 6 girls you can date in San Andreas.

Michelle is a mechanic who you can meet inside the Driving School in San Fierro. Michelle likes obese men and will only go out with CJ if his his fat stats are high. Michelle is at home from 00:00 to 12:00. Going out with her unlocks her Pay 'n' Spray garage in San Fierro. Get to 50% with her to unlock the keys to her car, a Monster Truck. Get to 100% to unlock a Racing outfit.

Helena Wankstein

Helena is one of the 6 girls you can date in San Andreas.

Helena is a young girl, obsessed with Guns. You can meet her on top of the Ammunation in Blueberry. She likes her men with medium muscle, low fat and lot's of sex appeal. She is at home from 08:00 until 12:00 and 14:00 until 02:00. Going out with her unlocks a small shed with a few weapons by her house. Get to 50% with her to gain keys to her car, a Bandito. Get to 100% to unlock an Overalls outfit.

Barbara Schternvart

Barbara is one of the 6 girls you can date in San Andreas.

Barbara is a cop who you can meet at the Sheriff's parking lot in El Quebrados. She's into fat guys and is at home from 16:00 until 06:00. Going out with her means that you will no longer loose any weapons or money after being arrested. Get to 50% with her for the keys to a Rancher. Get to 100% with her to unlock the Cop Outfit.

Millie Perkins

Millie is one of the 6 girls you can date in San Andreas.

CJ meets Millie after following her home from Caligulars casino. She is a croupier plays a major role in events that will occur in the future. She likes men with lot's of Sex Appeal and is at home from 12:00 until 20:00. Getting to 40% with her (or killing her) unlocks the keycard. Get to 50% for the keys to her car, a pink Club. Get to 100% for a Gimp outfit.
