Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars

Following his father's murder, Huang Lee has a simple mission: deliver an ancient sword to his Uncle Kenny to ensure his family retains control of the Triad gangs of Liberty City. Huang is a spoiled rich kid who expects everything to run smoothly, but his trip does not go exactly as planned. After being robbed and left to die, he will search for honor, riches and revenge in the most dangerous and morally bankrupt city in the world.


Chinatown Wars is set in a scaled-down version of the regenerated Liberty City that was the setting for GTA IV. It features four of the five boroughs: Dukes, Bohan, Broker, and Algonquin. The game, like the 2D GTA's, is in top-down view but features an Isometric camera angle that is able to swivel in 360 degrees.

The game, like the 3D GTA games, has it's weather and time cycle giving you a more varied experience. On the DS, the top screen will show you the action while the bottom screen can control all sorts of gameplay elements. There are many other new features from the latest 3D game to this point, GTA IV.

Chinatown Wars is now out on Nintendo DS and coming to the PSP this Fall.
